BRIT Awards


The nominees for the 2021 BRIT Awards were announced earlier today, March 31.

The award show was initially set for February of 2021, but was then postponed due to the pandemic. The show will now be held May 11 at the O2 Arena in London.

Leading the pack with nominations are artists like Dua Lipa, Jessie Ware, Arlo Parks, Celeste, and more.

The BRITs also make history this year, with female solo artists accounting for four out of the five nominations for album of the year. The nominees are:

The BRITs also separate their awards by gender for categories like best Female Solo Artist and Male Solo Artist.

Nominated for Male Solo Artist are:

And nominated for Female Solo Artist are:

The award show also honors artists outside of Britain, with categories for best International Group, International Female Solo Artist, and International Male Solo Artist. Appearing in these categories are well-known artists like Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, HAIM, and more.
