What to watch: 'This Is Us' season 5, 'The Undoing' and 'On The Rocks'

This Is Us is finally returning with its fifth season next week and it will address the pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement.



'This Is Us' Season 5

The show was super strict during production about COVID-19 protocols. The cast even had to sit between plexiglass dividers which Justin Hartley, who plays Kevin Pearson, has posted about on his Instagram. They also wore masks on set.

The new season will show how the characters of This Is Us deal with the pandemic. We spoke to Eris Baker who plays Tess Pearson to get a sneak peek into the upcoming season.

"So the coronavirus obviously is something really big that's going on in the world and you're going to see big events that's going on in the world also in the show. It's just things that you would see on the news or anything that's really affecting you. We definitely want to put that in the show so people can relate and bring real stories like that so people can relate."

The fourth season left viewers with an epic blow up between Kevin and Randall and fans are ready to see what happens next. They do not have to wait long, season five debuts Tuesday, October 27th with a two-hour special on NBC.

HBO's New Series 'The Undoing'

Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant star as an affluent married couple that get caught up in a scandal in this new limited series. The Undoing premieres October 25th on HBO.

Apple TV+'s New Film 'On The Rocks' 

Bill Murray and Rashida Jones star in Apple's new original film On The Rocks directed by Sophia Coppola. Murray plays Jones' playboy father, Felix who is helping his daughter, Laura, fix her marriage. On The Rocks is already receiving Oscar buzz and it is now streaming on Apple TV+.
