Cast of 'United We Fall'

The comedy series aired during the summer.

It appears fans of the comedy series won't be seeing season two of United We Fall.

The news of the cancellation comes to light as the series aired the season finale back on August 26. The series followed parents Jo (Christina Vidal Mitchell) and Bill (Will Sasso) as they manage to raise their two young daughters. Jane Curtin starred as Bill's mother, who was very judgmental and lived with the family. Jo's large Latinx Catholic family also plays a role with many others in their lives, but the couple remained united against everyone. The series also starred Elle Grace and Guillermo Díaz.

The family sitcom premiered on ABC back on July 15 - airing eight episodes. According to Variety, the show maintained solid ratings throughout its run, averaging 0.5 rating in adults 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers per episode in live + same day. Julius "Goldy" Sharpe wrote and executive produced the series along with Seth Gordon and Julia Gunn who also served as executive producers. Mark Cendrowski directed the pilot, which was produced by Sony Pictures Television, Exhibit A Film, Julius Sharpe International Petroleum & Writing Inc. and ABC Signature (formerly ABC Studios).
