Graduating in 2020 is a lot different than it has been in previous years. There goes the speeches, graduation pictures, and the graduation playlist - all replaced with virtual ceremonies. Luckily, Adam Sandler came to the rescue by sharing his own graduation story.

Sandler starts off by saying:

"Hellooooo high school and college class of 2020. Holy cow. Way to go. You did it. You are officially smart. You worked hard and you deserve the respect. Sorry it's a rough time to be graduating, but you know what I did the night of my high school graduation?"

Sandler Shares Story Of His Graduation

Sandler goes on to share to the story:

"I sat at home with my parents and we all just stared at each other just like you're doing now. Then the fun began. Love you all. Congratulations. Enjoy it and get ready to go save the world. We need you. Love, The Sandman."

Sandler's Tweet Gets Raving Responses 

Fans didn't miss an opportunity to reply to the star's Twitter tribute with some references to his latest movie, Uncut Gems.

He also spills about days on the set in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:

"These boys went at me pretty good. They beat me up I'd say maybe 120 different angles worth."
