Al Roker

After two weeks away from the TODAY studio, Al Roker is back! The weatherman who recently battled prostate cancer underwent surgery which took him away from his ABC morning show job. On Monday, Roker returned to the set joined by co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb back at Studio 1A.

The figure posted the exciting news of his return to 3rd Hour of TODAY.

"I'm baaack! I'm so excited to see all of you coming up on the TODAY Show."

On the Monday broadcast, Roker shared his gratitude to the medical team who helped with his five-hour surgery, along with the support her received from his friends and family.

"Great medical care and the love of friends and family – it goes a long way."

Roker reveals that he's been "trying to exercise," joking about his one routine regarding his wife.

"I've got something that I share with Deborah and all of you ladies who have children: I'm Kegel-ing right now."

Kotb responded while laughing:

"No one wants to know about that!"

Roker's humor had all the co-hosts laughing throughout the show which was an apparent presence missing during his two-week hiatus.

We are so happy that Roker is back at TODAY and wish him well on his journey to recovery.
