CBS Sitcom Mom' is officially coming to an end.
After eight seasons, the show, starring Allison Janney, will be saying its goodbyes. On Wednesday, the network announced that Mom's final episode would air on May 6th. The news comes one season after co-lead Anna Farris departed from the show.
Janney addressed the news on Instagram, writing:
"Getting to be part of MOM these past 8 years…showing the laughter, love and hope that can come with recovery, has been one of the great honors of my life,."
Janney continued on to thank the cast, crew, team of producers, and of course, her fans.
She said:
"...last but not least all of our extraordinary fans!!! Thank you for all of your support over the years"
