The talent for this year's competition is not messing around.

Despite quarantine, AGT on NBC is back for another season! Here's a closer look at the first night of auditions.

Archie Williams Gets His Moment

Archie Williams, a wrongfully convicted man who served 37 years in prison, finally got his shining moment that he had been waiting for.

Archie, a fan of AGT, describes his journey to arrive at the audition stage:

"I watched America's Got Talent in prison and I would visualize myself being there. I always desired to be on the stage like this, and now I am here"

Williams was not the only person who's life had been changed in that moment, Simon Cowell said:

"I will never listen to that song in the same way ever again after you sang that. It took on a whole different meaning to me...This is an audition I will never forget for my whole life"

The passionate performance Williams gave is securing him a spot in the next round of competition. After the performance, Williams was met by an overwhelming outpour of love by the judges and the audience. Williams has instantly become a frontrunner that has raised the bar for the competition.

Peruvian Twins Blow Away The Audience

Talented Twins, Andrea and Irene, who go by the name of Double Dragon, instantly charmed the judges with their infectious personality and showstopping vocals.

When asked by Simon Cowell why they are auditioning, Andrea said:

"We like to think we are more than just singers, we are performers, and what we actually like is to make people happy."

Their performance of "It's Raining Men" had the audience on their feet, making Double Dragon an instant hit. Andrea and Irene are on their way to the next round of competition, where we are sure to see sparklier outfits and more astonishing vocals.

Voices Of Our City Choir's Emotional Performance

Ending out the night, Voices Of Our City Choir, made up of individuals experiencing homeless, performed an original song, "Sounds of the Street," and received the Golden Buzzer from host Terry Crews.

When giving the Golden Buzzer, Crew goes on to say:

"I love you guys, I am honored to help you today, What you are doing right now is beyond, you deserve it"

The resilience that comes from this group makes them a force to be reckoned with. Because of their heartfelt performance, the Voices Of Our City Choir are deservingly going straight to the live rounds.
