Big news for RHONY fans confirmed by Andy Cohen!

Despite concerns over the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing guidelines, the cast of Real Housewives of New York Citywill be filming their reunion episode in person.

Andy Cohen Tells All!

On Andy Cohen's SiriusXM show Radio Andy, Cohen starts out by discussing how he stumbled upon an article in the New York Post about the RHONY reunion episode. To clarify details about filming and production, he dives into his confirmation that the reunion will actually take place in-person.

"It is looking like we will be doing our RHONY reunion in-person. There are a lot of protocols, everybody has to get tested, there's very few crew, very few people allowed. We're all six-feet apart so, you know, I don't think raising voices is gonna be a concern... hopefully, this is gonna go well."

When asked if the reunion will be filmed outside, Cohen confirmed that the reunion will not be filmed at an outdoor venue, but rather an indoor setting that has a lot of space for social distancing.

While this does raise concerns for safety protocols, Cohen is excited for the reunion which will film next Wednesday, August 5 at a location on Long Island, New York.
