Andy Cohen Set to Host New Docuseries

Andy Cohen is headed to E! The Watch What Happens Live host is expanding his reality TV empire. Best known for his work with Bravo, the star will now be taking on another hosting endeavor for E! Network, which remains as a part of his deal with NBC Universal.

Cohen will host and executive produce a seven-part docuseries titled For Real: The Story of Reality TV. The series will look back on some of the most iconic moments throughout reality TV history, with special interviews from Cohen and various reality stars.

In a statement, Cohen said:

"I'm thrilled to look back at the shows that formed my love for reality TV, and interview the icons of the genre."

The promo for the show references just a few of the beloved reality shows that might be discussed throughout the series, including Real Housewives of New Jersey and America's Next Top Model.

In a statement regarding the new show, EVP of development at Bravo and E! Rachel Smith said:

"A reality connoisseur in his own right, Andy takes viewers on a deep and captivating journey into a genre that's forever captivated audiences and impacted pop culture. At a time where the world is constantly changing, For Real: The Story of Reality TV offers the perfect escape we all need; an opportunity to sit back, relax and submerge into a world that's captured so many."

The show is set to air early 2021.
