Ariana Grande Releases New Album 'Positions'

She's back and better than ever.

Last week, Ariana Grande graciously dropped a new single and music video "Positions" and fans went crazy for it. Now, only a week later, we have her entire album in our hands. And it's phenomenal.

This is Ariana Grande's sixth studio album - and her third one in just a matter of three years. Her recent preceding albums were 'Sweetener' (2018) and 'thank u, next' (2019). Those two albums were made during a tragic time in Ariana's life, after she experienced the loss of her ex Mac Miller - and her music ended up being some of the most highly favored albums ever.

Collaborations on the album

The pop singer never fails to bring amazing artist collaborators on her projects. In her new album 'Positions,' there are many celebrity appearances, like Doja Cat, The Weeknd, and Ty Dolla $ign.

In Apple Music's synopsis of the album, they write:

"Strength and self-assuredness are themes throughout the album, and she gracefully takes credit for positive changes. She's meditating and minding her karma ('just like magic'), blissing out on healthy habits and sexual vim ('nasty,' '34+35'), and diving into new romances without worrying too much about getting hurt ('safety net' featuring Ty Dolla $ign, 'off the table' featuring The Weeknd)."

If we know anything about Ariana, it's that she doesn't settle for the minimum. That explains why her new album has not one, but three different covers. They look similar, but in each photo, Ariana is posed differently.

If you missed it last week, here is Grande's iconic music video for her single, 'positions.' In just 8 days, the video has received over 50 million views - and we can expect to see that same trend happening for the entire album itself.

You can listen to 'Positions' on every streaming platform, including Apple Music and Spotify.
