Katie Thurston on The Bachelorette

Week 6 of The Bachelorette aired last night and featured a fake wedding, drag queens, and a lot of tears.

The episode kicked off with a one-on-one date with bachelorette Katie Thurston and Justin.

On this date, the pair tied the knot in a mock ceremony complete with vows, cake, and photo shoot.

Katie and Justin's One-On-One Date

At their romantic dinner following the date, Katie opened up to Justin about the loss of her father and the conflicted emotions she feels knowing her dad will not be able to walk her down the aisle.

Group Date Competition

This week's group date was like no other, with drag queens and Ru Paul's Drag Race stars Monét X Change and Shea Coulee joining Katie to judge the Great Royal Debate competition.

In this game/roast, Blake, Andrew, Michael A., Greg, Aaron, Mike P., Brendan, James, Tre, and Hunter competed for Katie's heart by telling Katie why they were worthy of being there and ribbing their fellow bachelors.

Katie and Hunter Talk at the Afterparty

During the Great Royal Debate, the other bachelors again reiterated their dislike of Hunter and questioned his motives for coming on the show.

In light of these comments, Hunter and Katie sat down to talk about his intentions. Hunter could not ease Katie's mind or regain her complete trust, and their conversation ended with a tearful Katie retreating to the bathroom.

Katie ended the afterparty early and decided not to hand out a rose..

Double Date

In this episode, Katie and Connor had a second one-on-one date and were joined by fellow bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and her bachelor contestant boyfriend, Jason Tartick (season 14). The two couples played volleyball, quizzed each other in a relationship game, and ended the date with a cookout.

Katie and Connor's One-On-One

Following their day of fun, Katie blindsided Connor by sending him home before their dinner, claiming she couldn't see herself ending up with him.

Connor returned to the mansion to say his goodbyes and blindsided the other men with his departure.

The episode ended with a rose ceremony that sent Hunter, Aaron, James, and Tre home.
