What is #BellLetsTalk?

Bell Let's Talk Day is a day recognized and promoted by Canadian telecommunications company Bell Canada to promote mental health awareness. While the day might not be as widespread on American soil, there's never a bad time to get yourself right.

Why is Mental Health Awareness Important?

Well, because, in the United States alone, it's estimated 20% of US adults experienced mental illness in 2019. The problem is mental health is still a very stigmatized issue around the world, including the United States. It's a hard thing to talk about, a hard thing to come to terms with, and a harder thing to treat.

How to Help

First of all, the best mental health providers in the world are the people who love you. So check in with your loved ones, your friends, anyone you care about, and see how they're doing. Just knowing someone cares about you can make a monumental difference in someone's mental health.
