Halloween is almost here, and it's time to sit down, light a pumpkin candle, and put on a good Halloween movie. Here's our pick for you to watch tonight:

Coraline (2009)

Our Halloween movie pick of the day is the infamous Coraline - a story of a curious girl living inside of a mundane world, who gets the opportunity to live in a place of all things fun. The catch? In order for her to stay, she must have her eyes sewn with buttons.

Dakota Fanning plays the role of Coraline, who seems to just be looking for love and attention from her mother and father. A dialogue between Coraline and her mother:

Coraline: "Why don't you ever cook, Mom?"
Mel: "Coraline, we've been through this before. You dad cooks, I clean, and you stay out of the way. I swear I'll go food shopping soon as we finish the catalog. Try some of the chard. You need a vegetable."

Coraline's life is changed when she finds a little door in her house that leads her to a whole new world to her Other Mother and Other Father. Everything seems to be perfect in this world, until Coraline realizes her life is in huge danger.

Coraline snagged an Academy Award and Golden Globe nomination for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year in 2010.

Be sure to check out this spooky film if you haven't already! You can watch it on Hulu and Amazon Prime with a subscription.
