BREAKING NEWS: Chadwick Boseman has passed away at the age of 43 after a four year long battle with colon cancer.

According to a representative, the actor was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in 2016. Over time it had progressed to stage four. An instagram post from his team goes on to describe the late actor as,

"A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy."

The post goes on to say, "It was the honor of his career to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther. He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side."

Our thoughts and prayers are with Boseman's family and friends during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
