Over 3,600 professionals sign an open letter remanding the end to systemic racism.

British film and TV professionals have signed an open letter to the UK screen industry demanding the end of systemic racism in the field. The letter was adapted from a powerful letter published in Hollywood last week signed by celebrities like Colin Firth and Jane Featherstone.

Banish "Your Weak Excuses" 2. Empower Black and Brown Independent Producers 3. Expand Your Vision 4. Be More Demanding. Also, the document challenges the industry to be
"willing partners" in this fight.
"Our stories and experiences can no longer be limited to being backdrops for white narratives and protagonists."

Stars like Idris Elba, Emilia Clarke, Michaela Coel and Chiwetel Ejiofor have signed along with the thousands of signatures, the list will closed tonight before it is sent over.
