Nev Schulman Shares Online Dating Tips Heading Into 2022

Nev Schulman Shares Online Dating Tips Heading Into 2022 | Celebrity Page
Dating apps are no easy feat... so Nev is here to help!

It's true! Catfishing is still a thing in the dating world.

Nev Schulman has been helping people with horrible online dating experiences for years on MTV's Catfish.

Now, he's offering his best tips to maneuver dating apps.

"There does seem to still be a real trend, and perhaps even more so since the pandemic, of people getting into an online relationship with someone that they don't know. I do think that the apps are getting better and that people are learning both how to use them and how to avoid abusing them. Miraculously, I still think that a lot of people are getting deceived," Schulman said.

"The advice I give now, which is very much the advice I would give ten years ago is... if you're using a dating app because you really want to go on a date, don't talk to someone on the app for more than a week or so... without meeting them!"

New episodes of Catfish also dropped earlier this week to kick off the new year!

"The biggest and most exciting part of these new episodes is that we're going to finally be back out on the road. After a year and a half of filming pretty much remotely, we're finally now traveling again. It's a much more IRL group of episodes."

Watch new episodes of Catfish Wednesday nights on MTV.
