Chloe Trautman

Viewers of Siesta Key may see less appearances from Sarasota-native star Chloe Trautman in the upcoming fourth season. After she was presumably missing during a cast trip to Palm Islands in Grenadines, the star noticed misinformation being spread about her absence all over the internet. Well, Trautman was having none of that and decided to take matters into her own hands.

On Sunday, Trautman took to her Instagram story to clarify her status with the reality TV series.

"I can not stand to see these lies spread anymore. I was not fired. I decided to take a step back from filming because it became extremely toxic," she wrote to her social. "I am unwilling to put my journey and my happiness on the line for fame and money."

It is unclear whether the star will make an appearance during the upcoming season or what exactly transpired with the rest of her castmates. However, she rest assured that fans "will all have clarity when the show airs. Now please stop spreading lies."

On November 23, the star took to her Instagram sharing her excitement for the MTV series to return.

There is clearly major trouble in paradise that is causing the star to speak out about the toxic work environment.

The series' fourth season was picked up in June 2020 with most castmates returning to set. This includes Juliette Potter, Madisson Hausburg, Kelsey Owens, Chloe Trautman, Brandon Gomes, Amanda Miller and Garrett Miller. Alex Kompothecras and his girlfriend, Alyssa Salerno, will not be returning after his racist remarks began resurfacing on social media.
