Here's how Chris Evans redirects fans after an embarrassing moment:

On Tuesday, Marvel actor Chris Evans spoke with Tamron Hall on her show to discuss his new political platform and his embarrassing, accidentally leaked photo came up in conversation. Here's how he handled it:

"Now that I have your attention..."

Over the weekend, Evans accidentally posted an Instagram Reel which included a screen recording of his camera roll, which included a NSFW photo.

Following the mishap, his brother Scott Evans tweeted, making fun of him saying:

Mark Ruffalo also tweeted to Evans, telling him that it wasn't that embarrassing:

While Evans took the time to redirect fans onto more important things:

"Did something happen this weekend?"

While guest appearing on the Tamron Hall Show, Evans gets asked about this weekend's situation. Tamron Hall asks for an explanation and says "What happened, Chris?" to which he responds "Did something happen this weekend?" brushing it off. Chris then explains:

"That's called turning a frown upside down, Tamron. Uh, you know, it, look, it was an interesting weekend full of, uh, lessons learned, lot of teachable moments. Um, you know, you know, things happen, it's embarrassing, you gotta roll with the punches. I will say I have some pretty, some pretty fantastic fans who really came to my support."

A Starting Point

Chris Evans came on the show to talk to Hall about his new political platform, A Starting Point. Evans is interested in creating a more "informed electorate." ASP's website describes the platform as:

"A Starting Point is a video-based civic engagement platform created by Chris Evans, Mark Kassen, and technology entrepreneur Joe Kiani. ASP's mission is to create a bipartisan channel of communication and connectivity between Americans and their elected officials with the goal of creating a more informed electorate."

Even in times of embarrassment, Evans is focused on keeping Americans informed on their electoral rights.
