Christopher Walken has never had a cell phone, owned a computer, or sent an email.

During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, actor Christopher Walken revealed the news to a very puzzled audience. Not only had he never sent an email, he's never owned a computer or cell phone from which to send one.

He explained to Colbert:

"I just got to it too late. I think I'm right at a certain age where it just passed me by. And I never got involved in it because it would be strange to have any 10-year-old be much better at it than I am."

What's most shocking is that the 77-year-old walks around without any cell phone. After all, he thinks of it like a watch. If you need one, somebody nearby will always have one.

It's certainly odd how he could continue working in Hollywood without any sort of communication system. Though it seems Hollywood has tried:

"Sometimes on a movie they'll give me a cell phone, but it's more so that they can find me… like a tracking collar. If I want to use it, someone has to dial it for me, that kind of thing."

Just think of all the other things Walken has never tried...no Angry Bird or Facebook, not Facetime and certainly no TikToks!

Walkens and Colbert continued with the interview which was meant to promote his latest film- Wild Mountain Thyme with co-stars Emily Blunt and Jamie Dornan.
