Bachelor star Colton Underwood came out as gay on Good Morning America this week, and an old clip from 2019 is resurfacing just in time.

On Good Morning America, Underwood opened up and shared that he has ran from himself "for a very long time." But the Bachelor star doesn't want to hide anymore:

"I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing it. And the next step in all of this was letting people know."

And right after his coming out a 2019 clip resurfaced, showing Billy Eichner on the ABC set of the Bachelor. At minute 2:09, when asked about what he looked for in a partner, Eichner shared:

"The first thing I do... I'm gay, I know that's a shock, Colton."

And proceeded teasing Underwood...

"And that I think, you should look into. Maybe you're the first gay Bachelor and we don't even know!"

Underwood was visibly embarrassed and laughed, probably unsure of what to say next. Eichner then said "put that in your promo!"

Eichner even shared an Instagram post about the vicissitude captioning "If you're gay, be gay! I've been gay forever and I love it!" following Underwood's official coming out.

And Underwood shared polaroid pictures on Instagram to show a brand new beginning.

"I have a lot to learn, but I have come a long way."

Coming out is a very long and difficult process for many and Underwood seems to have just started to savor his new life.
