The seller becomes the buyer in HGTV's new special.

David Bromstad is switching things up this summer with his brand new special My Lottery Dream Home: David's Dream Home.

Bromstad is the host of My Lottery Dream Homein which he helps lottery winners find their dream home. This time around, he will be playing the role of the homeowner.

"It's weird because like when we were filming I was like 'this is so odd I'm usually the other person.' You know, I've been looking for years, I mean, probably four years. So I know the market really well and I know the areas really well. It was just fun to be taken out of my comfort zone. I'm super excited about it. I'm excited to see how I am on camera being the buyer not the seller." Bromstad said.

My Lottery Dream Home: David's Dream Home airs Friday, July 16th, on HGTV. It will also be available to stream on Discovery+.

The injury occurred in a freak accident in which his right hand was impaled at a bowling alley. Luckily, his cake making days are far from over. See who takes the cake in the season three premiere airing Sunday, July 18th, on Food Network and streaming on Discovery+.

Another food competition show coming to Food Network and Discovery+ comes from world renowned chef Robert Irvine.
