The Television Academy is celebrating the best of daytime tv, including some legends recently lost.


Nominees include the late Alex Trebek for Outstanding Game Show Host for Jeopardy, along with Wayne Brady for Let's Make a Deal, Steve Harvey for Family Feud, Alfonso Ribeiro for Catch 21, and Pat Sajak for Wheel of Fortune.

The late Larry King is also nominated for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host. The other nominees include: Jada Pickett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris from Red Table Talk, Gloria Estefan, Emily Estefan, and Lili Estefan from Red Table Talk: The Estefans. Other nominees include Amy Robach, Dr. Jennifer Ashton, TJ Holmes from GMA 3: What You Need to Know. There is also Rachael Ray, Tamron Hall, and Taraji P. Henson and Tracie Jade from Peace of Mind with Taraji.

When it comes to Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host, nominees include Kelly Clarkson, Drew Barrymore, Sean Evans, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest, and Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush.

General Hospital is up for the most Daytime Emmy nominations, including Best Drama Series, which is nominated along with The Bold and Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, and The Young and the Restless.

The iconic Judge Judy also picked up a nomination for Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program along with Divorce Court, The People's Court, Caught in Providence, and Lauren Lake's Paternity Court.

The Daytime Emmy Awards will be held Friday, June 25th on CBS and Paramount+ at 8pm ET.

In other news; Conan O'Brien announced the final episode of Conan to be June 24th, with him moving on to variety series on HBO Max, which is currently in the works.

Also June 24th, Resorts World, a luxury hotel in Las Vegas is opening a new attraction with headlines such as Celine Dion, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan, a perfect way to celebrate the summer.
