Debris is he newest sci-fi series on NBC, investigating the wreckage of an alien spacecraft that has mysterious effects on humans.

Jonathan Tucker stars in the new drama and alluded to the show's eerie tone that matches the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We've seen stuff fallen to earth before! We've had comets and asteroids. This is not that outside of what we think might be possible," Tucker said.

Back for a third season, New Amsterdam portrays the real-life heroes on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tyler Labine, who plays Dr. Iggy Frome, is hoping to bring unity and light to a dark year for many people.

"Within the realm of the show, this is happening. We're representing frontline workers and health care workers. Maybe we can all heal a little bit together," Labine said.
