Demi Lovato will take the stage at the People's Choice Awards but not to perform, she will be hosting.

E! News took to Twitter to announce the news yesterday and Demi Lovato had a clever response.

Demi is a five-time People's Choice Award-Winner and has received 12 nominations including in top categories such as "Favorite Female Artist" and "Favorite Music Fan Following."

Jen Neal, the General Manager of Live Events & Lifestyle Digital at E! News said:

"Demi Lovato is an international icon and we cannot wait for her to host the 2020 'E! People's Choice Awards. Her authentic presence and dynamic talents will make for an unforgettable night."

She has had a successful acting and music career. She got her start on Disney Channel starring in Camp Rock and has continued her music career since then and now has had two number one hits and eight top ten hits. Demi Lovato is a multi-platinum singer/songwriter.

Demi Lovato has recently made headlines after breaking off her engagement to Max Ehrich. After the split Lovato released a new song "Still Love Me" on Twitter and it is a sentimental song about how loving yourself is enough. Hopefully Lovato will take a brief break from hosting and we will get a live performance of her new song at the award show.

Let's also hope that Demi is staying strong during this heartbreak and will give us a great award show next month.

Demi will be hosting the show live from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Sunday, November 15 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
