Derek Hough Tests Positive For COVID-19

Derek Hough

Dancing With The Stars' judge Derek Hough tested positive for COVID-19. Following the news, Hough might miss the dancing competition's finale and has rescheduled his Las Vegas shows.

Through an Instagram post, Derek Hough revealed he tested positive with a breakthrough case of COVID-19. But the Dancing With The Stars' judge wanted to reassure everyone about his conditions.

"I feel okay, I feel strong, but I'm currently taking advice from medical professionals and I'm doing everything I can to get better as fast as I can."

Hough is currently in quarantine and let fans know that his Las Vegas' shows will be rescheduled with new dates yet to be announced. But there are various doubts concerning his attendance at the dancing competition's finale, which is set to air next Monday, November 22nd.

Just a few days ago, Hough had shared a Tik Tok of him prior to the semi-finals of Dancing With The Stars.

According to the CDC, vaccinated individuals who test positive for COVID-19 must quarantine for 10 days. But not all is lost -- a virtual appearance might be ideal for Hough, who has been judging alongside Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli this season.

We wish Derek Hough a speedy recovery and if you want to find out which couple will win this year's season of Dancing With The Stars tune in on Monday, November 22nd at 8pm, only on ABC.
