Bentley's Sneak Peek

Bentley gave his fans a sneak peek of the new video a day before its premiere with the caption,

"I've been #Gone... 12.10.20"

"Gone" stars the country singer as a man with no motivation drowning his sorrows in beer and television. As Bentley falls deeper down the rabbit hole, he begins to see himself as the characters he's watching on T.V. and they seem to not be doing too well either. From a dad at home to a detective, Bentley's characters can never win.

The chorus of "Gone" features the lyrics,

"I've been gone, I've been gone
I've been sittin' on the couch watching TV all day long
All day long, I've been tryna figure out how a good thing went wrong"

Characters You May See

Most notably, Bentley stars as Dwight from The Office (2005-2013) whose office phone gets switched out for a banana!

MacGyver

Bentley pays tribute to the original MacGyver (1985-1992) by playing a detective who ends up not stopping the bomb resulting in his and others' lives.

Game of Thrones

In "Gone," Bentley fends off a dragon who breathes fire to defeat Bentley paying tribute to one of his favorite series Game of Thrones (2011-2019).

Full House

Bentley stars as your typical who dad who just can't catch a break with his baby eventually throwing up all over him, much like Danny Tanner from Full House (1987-1995).

Many more television characters can be seen in "Gone" to tell the story of a man who needs to get up and move on from the heartbreak that got him in this mess.
