Dolly Parton has proved she's defied age after recreating her original Playboy 1978 cover in full bunny get up (including ears and a pink bow tie) for her husband's 79th birthday.

The country music star first graced the cover of Playboy at the age of 32-years-old and apparently it was a favorite cover of her husband Carl Thomas Dean who she's been married to for 55 years. Naturally, the "Jolene" singer had to slip back into her black strapless corset after revealing in an interview with 60 Minutes Australia that at age 75 she'd want to recreate the photo shoot.

Parton took to Twitter posting a video that surpassed over 5 million views showing the world that age is just a number writing:

"It's always #HotGirlSummer for my husband, Carl 💝 Happy birthday my love!"

"Today is July 20. It's my husband Carl's birthday and you're probably wondering why I'm dressed like this? Well, it's for my husband's birthday," Parton started off the video. "Remember sometime back I said I was going to pose on the Playboy magazine when I was 75. Well, I'm 75 and they don't have a magazine anymore."

Parton revealed she wanted to do something to make her husband happy on his birthday. "He still thinks I'm a hot chick after 57 years and I'm not going to try to talk him out of that and I hope he agrees."

The Grammy winner showed fans her recreation of the iconic photo in a side-by-side comparison alongside the original cover jokingly mocking herself. "I was kind of a little butterball in that one. Well, I'm string cheese now. But he'll probably think I'm cream cheese … I hope."

Parton wrapped up the video saying, "You think Playboy ought to pay me for at least a photoshoot? I do.

Dean has been the inspiration for many of Parton's love songs and wed the singer when she was just 18-years-old in Georgia prior to the release of her first album and her rise to stardom. Dean has been known to stray from the spotlight and rarely sees his wife perform. Dolly said in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in 2011, "He gets nervous seeing me perform. It's almost like seeing your kid in a recital. He's afraid I'll mess up. Actually, he has seen me a time or two and it did relax him a little."
