A Bump in Ratings
The Drew Barrymore Show began in September of 2020 and has since gained new fans over the past couple of months. The syndicated talk show is not as high up as others, but has a total of a little less than a million viewers daily. Since the end of 2020, the show has grown in view by 19% in households and 13% among women from 25 to 54 years old.
Host Drew Barrymore couldn't be more ecstatic for the renewal stating,
"This is my dream job, and I feel so lucky to get to do this for another year. I am so grateful to CBS Media Ventures and all our station partners for believing in us."
Began During Covid-19
"Launching a daily syndicated show during a pandemic was a challenge no daytime show has ever had to face, but Drew and everyone on this team turned every obstacle into an opportunity and delivered a big, bright, fun hour of much needed optimism to viewers every day."
Barrymore maintains safety on set with strict social distancing protocols and numerous Zoom interviews.
Continues to Bring Fun to T.V.
Since it's launch, Barrymore has brought an abundance of celebrities to the show including The Tonight Show (2014-) host Jimmy Fallon, her Charlie's Angels (2000) co-star Cameron Diaz, singer Lionel Richie, and so many more. Barrymore not only interviews her guests, but engages in activities with them such as cooking and "Drewth or Dare."
Congratulations to Barrymore and her crew! We look forward to seeing what you wall will do on the next season of The Drew Barrymore Show.
