Jimmy Kimmel To Host 2020 Emmy Awards: Here's What You Need To Know
ABC/Jeff Lipsky

Late night host Jimmy Kimmel will host the 72nd annual Emmys

For the third time, Jimmy Kimmel will return to host television's biggest night. ABC has asked their popular late night host, to be the master of ceremonies for this year's Emmy Awards. The show is set for Sunday September 20th. ABC has not yet said if an audience will be in attendance for the ceremony or if it will be held virtually.

Jimmy's Reaction

Jimmy will not only be hosting the show, but will also serve as its Executive Producer.

Award Show Veteran

Jimmy is no stranger to award shows. He has hosted the Emmys twice and the Oscars multiple times, as well, before it went 'host-less'.

Funny Man

Jimmy was the host, on one of the most awkward award show nights ever, when the wrong winner was announced at the Oscars.

See you in September!

We're excited to see how the show goes. Stay tuned for updates as we get them.
