Since 2015, Hamilton has been the most coveted ticket on Broadway. That all changes on July 3rd when the musical will only be available for $6.99 on Disney+. The filmed musical was shot over 3 days in June of 2016 at the Richard Rogers Theatre. The film features the entire original cast except for ensemble members Betsy Struxness, and Emmy Raver-Lampman.

The cast includes Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler, Jonathan Groff as King George, Christopher Jackson as George Washington, Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton, Leslie Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr, Okieriete Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton, and Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton.
