Watch: First Trailer of 'Don't Worry Darling' Is Here

Don't Worry Darling | Official Trailer

The first trailer of Olivia Wilde's "Don't Worry Darling," starring Harry Styles and Florence Pugh, is finally here!

The psychological thriller, directed by Olivia Wilde, will be released in theaters on September 23.

The synopsis reads:

"Alice and Jack are lucky to be living in the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. The 1950s societal optimism espoused by their CEO, Frank (Pine)—equal parts corporate visionary and motivational life coach—anchors every aspect of daily life in the tight-knit desert utopia."

Debuting the footage for the first time to audiences at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on April 26, Wilde saidmovies like "The Matrix," "Inception," and "The Truman Show" inspired the upcoming film. She said those are films that "push the boundaries of our imagination."

During CinemaCon, Wilde revealed that 18 studios were trying to land the film, but opted for Warner Bros and New Line because they "made one thing very clear: This would be a movie for movie theaters."

The film also stars Wilde, herself, in addition to Nick Kroll, Sydney Chandler, Kate Berlant, Asif Ali, Douglas Smith, Timothy Simons, Ari'el Stachel, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, and Chris Pine. Don't Worry Darling is billed as "twisted" and "visually stunning." The movie is scored by John Powell.

Wilde directs from a screenplay penned by her "Booksmart" writer Katie Silberman, based on a story by Carey & Shane Van Dyke and Silberman.
