Friday Night Lights actor Garret Hedlund was allegedly arrested for public intoxication on Saturday night in Franklin County, Tennessee.

The incident comes just weeks after Hedlund and actress Emma Roberts called it quits. The former couple share one-year-old son Rhodes together.

The pair began dating in March 2019 and welcomed their son in December 2020. Roberts and Hedlund introduced their son to the world in January with a sweet instagram post. Emma wrote,

"Thank you 2020 for getting one thing right. Our bright light Rhodes Robert Hedlund."

According to PEOPLE, the actors broke things off a few weeks ago and have been trying their best to co-parent in spite of their personal relationship struggles. However, it has not been easy on the new parents.

Hedlund was released from jail on a $2,100 bond and is set to return to court in March.

This is just one of the legal issues the actor is currently dealing with. Hedlund was sued earlier this week for a DUI charge he received two years ago in 2020. The actor's blood alcohol level was at .36 (four times the legal limit) when he crashed head-on into a Nissan carrying a mother and her three kids.

The mother and one of her daughters allege they were badly injured in the collision and are now suing for negligence, asking for punitive damages and a jury trial.

The actor plead no contest to the DUI charge at the time and was given three years probation along with a 30 day treatment program and 9 months of alcohol and drug education counseling.

Hedlund's recent arrest could be even more problematic for the actor if he is found to be in violation of his probation.
