Guardians of the Galaxy

This weekend, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn took to Instagram to answer fans questions about the Guardians series.

One fan asked the writer and director if Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would be the last film for him in the franchise or can audiences expect more. Gunn stated that the third film will be his last with the current team, and if there is a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4, it could feature a new team. Gunn did not comment what characters would take over if there was a fourth film. In addition to this, another fan asked if someone will die in the third film and the director answered yes.

Fans should be excited and expect one last film with our current team of galaxy heroes. Gunn recently directed the anticipated sequel for The Suicide Squad, expected to be released on August 6, 2021.
