Get ready to hit the road in "Hacks" season two!

HBO Max dropped the trailer for the upcoming second season of the critically acclaimed comedy series, set to premiere on the streaming service May 12 in two episode increments, concluding with the season finale on June 2.

“Hacks” stars Jean Smart as Deborah Vance, legendary Las Vegas comedian and Hannah Einbinder as Ava Daniels, an aspiring comedy writer who ends up working for Deborah after being cancelled over a Tweet.

Season one saw the end of Deborah's Vegas career as her residency came to a close. It concluded with a cliffhanger where Ava drunkenly sent an email to a production company making a show about Deborah that slammed her boss. As Ava comes to terms with her father's death, she and Deborah hit the road in season two to try out a new act at smaller venues across the country.

“Hacks” also stars Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Poppy Liu, Johnny Sibilly and Megan Stalter. The second season will feature new recurring guest stars Laurie Metcalf, Martha Kelly, Ming-Na Wen and Susie Essman. Margaret Cho and Devon Sawa will also make appearances in the new season.

Smart won an Emmy, SAG and Critics Choice Award for her performance in season one. Einbinder, Carl Clemons-Hopkins and Jane Adams also received Emmy nominations.

Season two of "Hacks" premieres May 12 on HBO Max, with two episodes released every week until June 2. In the meantime, catch up on the first season, or check out the trailer above!
