With many production companies shutting down this year due to the pandemic, fans were left wondering what would come from Hallmark this holiday season. Have no fear, because Hallmark will be releasing 40 new movies in 2020.


Hallmark is set to release 23 new movies for the holidays, as well as Hallmark Movies & Mysteries bringing another 17. Several movies were lucky to wrap production prior to the pandemic and there are hopes that the others can finish shooting in the other half of 2020. However, a lot is left in the unknown considering how often the world's situation changes. Hallmark Channel also released an exclusive trailer of their upcoming film Christmas in Vienna. The film revolves around violinist Jess (Sarah Drew) and her journey to play in Vienna, where she stumbles upon romance and adventure.
