The singer urges people to show compassion for those suffering.

Halsey shared her thoughts on people's judgements of bipolar disorder after Kanye West's recent twitter posts.

The singer took to twitter to empathize with people struggling with bipolar disorder, as she has been a constant advocate over the course of her music career for mental health awareness. After being diagnosed with the disorder back in high school, Halsey has dedicated her career to offering education and insight into bipolar disorder.

Halsey goes on by tweeting:

"A lot of people you know probably have bipolar disorder and you aren't aware of it. Taking this opportunity to make offensive remarks and villify people with mental illnesses is really not the way to go...this is the exact triggering shit that causes people to keep quiet about it."

Halsey signed off with a tweet saying:

"Sincerely, Human Being with a Decade Long Bipolar Diagnosis."

Halsey's series of tweets on the disorder just so happen to be posted shortly after West's concerning twitter rants that have since been deleted as of today.

After the tweets went viral, fans speculated that West was having a manic episode from bipolar disorder and that Halsey was essentially subtweeting him in her posts. However, Halsey still has not made any comments about who she was referring to.
