This Saturday is Juneteenth. To celebrate this day, ABC will air a special called "Juneteenth: Together We Triumph - A 'Soul of a Nation' Special Event"
The special will be hosted by Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr. It will feature a conversation between Michael Strahan and former President Barack Obama. In the interview, Obama admits to Strahan:
"We're not all going to live in a perfect kumbaya society."

He follows this up by saying:

"But we can make it better by working and by reaching out and by assuming the best in each other."

The inspiring two-hour special will celebrate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans on June 19th 1865. On Friday, Joe Biden signed a bill that officially recognizes Juneteenth as a federal holiday.
