HBO Max's 'Gossip Girl' Reboot Trailer Released

Here's a first-look at the Gossip Girl reboot on HBO Max.

The hit teen drama is back with a new cast and new secrets.

Gossip Girl, the show that put stars like Blake Lively and Penn Badgley on the map, is back. This time on HBO Max, and the highly anticipated season trailer has just been released.

A brief description was released along with the trailer that said:

"Nine years ago, the original Gossip Girl website shut down. But after a new generation of New York's young elite takes control of private school Constance Billard, the notorious blogger remerges as the number one source into their scandalous lives."

And while this trailer only gives a brief glimpse into what drama will unfold within this group of elite high school students, with original Gossip Girl producer Joshua Safran show running the reboot, it's sure to be as juicy as its predecessor.

The main cast comprises actors Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, and Savannah Lee Smith.

An Instagram post from back in December gave a first look at the cast lounging, in typical Gossip Girl fashion, on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

And while the new cast consists of many new faces, one thing that hasn't changed is the voice of Gossip Girl. Kristen Bell is back and will voice the ominous and anonymous title character.

The reboot will begin streaming on HBO Max July 8.
