It's no secret Rodrigo is bound for stardom, and her castmates know it too.

You may know Olivia Rodrigo from her smash hit, Driver's License, but this superstar got her start as a lead on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, where her skyrocket to fame began. We sat down with the cast of the show to get their thoughts on her budding stardom. Spoiler alert: they had nothing but nice things to say.

While interviewing Dara Reneé, Matt Cornett, and Kate Reinders, all of them couldn't help but show so much support for their castmate. Some even revealed that they got to hear Olivia's music before it was released.

"I've been lucky enough to hear some of the music that she's shown me that's like future music" Cornett couldn't help but smile in support of his friend. "I'm so stoked for her on her journey and I can't wait to see where she goes cause she is gonna be the next greatest thing. I'm telling you."

HSMTMTS's Reinders spoke on behalf of the whole cast, "We already knew she was going to be a huge deal, so when it happened we were like, 'yeah, you guys, it wasn't a question of if, it was a question of when."

Castmate Dara Reneé also gushed about the 'deja vu' singer. "She's an absolute star, and she's gonna get bigger. You watch."

Fans of Rodrigo and Driver's License know that the song is about a love triangle that emerged after Rodrigo was in a "situationship" of sorts with her lead castmate in HSMTMTS, Joshua Bassett.

Rodrigo's debut album, Sour, drops this Friday, May 21, and HSMTMTS has new episodes dropping every Friday on Disney+.
