Fans were granted a special sneak peak of Denis Villeneuve's historic science fiction film Dune on Wednesday. Based on Frank Hebert's 1965 novel, the film centers around desert planet Arrakis. Protagonist Paul Atreides leads the charge to control the world and the most valuable substance known to man: the spice melange.
Dune is known as one of the most influential sci-fi novels of all time. Therefore, this film is highly anticipated as viewers are curious to see if it lives up to the expectations of the novel.
The film stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Josh Brolin, Sharon Duncan-Brewster and Javier Bardem.
Check out the premiere of Dune in theaters on Friday, December 18th.
