The new streaming service is here, and it is full of nostalgia for Gen Z and millennials

From Bel-Air to Sesame Street, here are ten shows and movies Gen Z and millennials can rewatch to relive their childhood on HBO Max.


10. Scooby-Doo

Despite coming out in 1969, the Joe Ruby and Ken Spears creation centered around the Mystery Gang has lasted nearly 51 years. HBO Max has several Scooby-Doo titles including: Scooby-Doo: Where Are You!, The Scooby-Doo Show, Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, Scooby-Doo (2002), Scooby-Doo: Monsters Unleashed (2004), The All-New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show, and The New Scooby And Scrappy-Doo Show. HBO Max tells subscribers:

"Brainiac Velma, jock Fred, fashionista Daphne, hippie Shaggy and the talking Great Dane Scooby-Doo, climb into their Mystery Machine van and hit the road to solve strange phenomenon. Mysteries just have a way of falling into the gang's laps."-

9. Sesame Street

Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie, Monster, and whole gang of the timeless show Sesame Street is available on HBO Max. Though debuting in 1969, the Joan Ganz Cooney and Lloyd Morrisett educational program has been ingrained in our culture.

HBO Max has Sesame Street (2011-2020) and Sesame Street Classics (Season 1-Season 28) available to stream. HBO Max tells their subscribers:

In 2004, Our favorite yellow sponge, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie debuted on the big screen to rave reviews and massive box office success. If you ever want to go back to when you saw this film in theaters or when it aired on Nickelodeon, you now can on HBO Max. The streaming service describes the optimistic movie:

The 1995 animated show centering around the child genius, Dexter is back! Lasting from 1995 to 2003, over six seasons, Dexters Laboratorymade children all around the world laugh. From experiments to humor, this show is now available on HBO Max. HBO Max describes the show:

It's Hero Time! The Cartoon Network smash hit is now fully available (along with several spin-off films and TV shows) on HBO Max including Ben 10, Ben 10 (2016), Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10: Race Against Time, and Ben 10: Omniverse. HBO Max describes the show of our favorite shape shifting child as:

"While on a seemingly endless summer vacation with his Grandpa Max and Cousin Gwen, Ben Tennyson discovers a watch called the Omnitrix. Titans, Go! The 2003 DC Cartoon is now fully available on HBO Max. Created by Glen Murakami, the now beloved cartoon follows Robin, Beast Boy, Raven, Starfire, and Cyborg as they fight bad guys and deal with other super problems. The show lasted from 2003-2005 with 5 seasons. The popularity of the show also led to a movie and spin-off TV Shows. HBO Max describes the crime fighting animated show:

Sugar! Spice! and Everything Nice! The 1998 animated adventures of Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles is now fully available on HBO Max. The show lasted 6 seasons with a total of 78 episodes. The Powerpuff Girls has been ingrained in our culture as the recent 2016 reboot was a massive success.

"The Powerpuff Girls centers on three sugar-coated superheroes, whose missions in life alternate between going to school, fighting crime, winning at hopscotch and saving the world before bedtime. The Will Smith comedy has made its streaming debut on HBO Max. 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' was a massive success lasting 6 seasons and launching Will Smith into stardom. HBO Max describes the hit comedy:

They're back! After being removed from Netflix last year, 'Friends' is back on the new streaming platform. The 90s comedy follows Rachel, Chandler, Joey, Monica, Phoebe, and Ross as they go through life in NYC. From Relationships to Thanksgiving, this TV show is arguably one of the most popular shows of all time. Including a cast of now A-list celebrities Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc. The smash hit lasted 10 seasons. HBO Max summarizes the pop culture sensation:

1. All 8 Harry Potter Movies

Arguably one of the biggest franchises of all time, All 8 Harry Potter films are now on HBO Max. Fans of old and new can now revisit the movie adaptations of the equally famous books by author J.K Rowling. Harry Potter isn't just books and movies, this franchise has led to a theme park, merchandise, a broadway play, and a massive fanbase. According to Fortune.com Harry Potter is the 2nd highest grossing franchise of all time with $7.7 billion worldwide. HBO Max describes Harry Potter:
