Lin-Manuel Miranda is bringing In The Heights from the stage to the screen!
"We tried to make a movie that very much stands on its own and is different from the stage version, but is a more concentrated version of the themes of the show," Miranda said.
The theme of the movie? Achieving your dreams!
"I started writing In The Heights when I was 19-years-old. There's so many layers to it!"
In The Heights premieres June 11th in theaters and on HBO Max.
