Leonard Robinson Talks Fifth & Final Season Of 'Insecure' | Celebrity Page

It's time to say goodbye to Issa Rae's Insecure.

That's right, the beloved comedy series is coming to a close after five seasons. The series has earned Rae numerous Emmy nominations over the years including Outstanding Comedy Series.

We sat down with Rae's co-star Leonard Robinson to hear the latest on the fifth and final season. He said:

"It's been a wonderful journey. It's been just my honor and privilege to be a part of that universe and part of that show."

Robinson will reprise his role as Molly's co-worker, Taurean. He's played this role since season three, but now in season five, he is stepping even more into the spotlight.

Fans are already theorizing about what the future holds for Robinson's character. When asked what he thought about the how the fans would react to the final season, Robinson said:

"I think our fans are so passionate about the show that they're not gonna be satisfied because they want more. They've asked every season for longer episodes and more episodes. They just want this show to keep going on forever, but good for Issa for having a vision and having a timeline and wrapping it up."

Robinson had nothing but nice things to say about his boss, Issa Rae. He added:

"People don't often get to experience how genuine and real someone that powerful and prolific can be. On set, she's just as cool and regular as anyone else although there's a million things going on."

Tune in to HBO Sundays at 10:00pm ET to catch new episodes of Insecure. The show is also available on HBO Max.
