James Austin Johnson, quickly became a breakout star on SNL earlier this year as he joined the cast for the 47th season.

The young comedian is making history playing both President Biden and former President Donald Trump on the show.

“I’m glad to do it. Someone has to do it for America or we’d go insane. I didn’t think that I’d be doing it when I got there, but when Lorne says jump... you jump," Johnson said.

Johnson is also taking his talents to Fairview, the new animated comedy series on Comedy Central.

“It's fun doing a bunch of different voices in the same cartoon. It’s an experience."

The comedian stars alongside fellow comedian Aparna Nancherla in the series.

“'Fairview' is just a hyper-topical show. I mean it's sort of loosely inspired by the world of 'South Park.' 'Fairview' I would say definitely has its own spin," Nancherla said.
