Jamie Dornan's father has passed away after a month-long battle with the coronavirus.
Professor Jim Dornan, a renowned obstetrician, has passed away.. A Northern Ireland Charity had broken the news Monday morning on twitter.
It read:
"Very sad news this morning on the passing of Professor Jim Dornan, a passionate patron, advocate and friend to all at @LAL_NI. Jim was champion for so many small charities and causes in NI and that legacy will live on. Condolences to family and friends at this sad time."

The 73-year-old had worked closely with that charity since 2005 after his battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Dornan was an obstetrician and gynecologist for over four decades, as well as the chair of health and life sciences at Ulster University, and the previous chair in fetal medicine at Queen's University Belfast.
