From Broadway to the big screen, Jasmine Cephas Jones is having a busy year. Arthur Kade spoke with one of Hamilton’s original leading ladies about transitioning to her very full movie slate.

With three big movies on the horizon -- Blindspotting, Monsters and Men, and Dog Days, it's safe to say that the former Hamilton star Jasmine Cephas Jones has made a successful jump to Hollywood.

We spoke with her about pushing the envelope as an actor, getting advice from her father, and veteran actor Ron Cephas Jones, and diversity in Hollywood.

"It's an exciting time to be an actor and to be a part of film, TV, and theater."
