Jason Derulo has had many #1 hits in his lifetime, but his recent music success hits a little more close to home after parting ways with Warner Records. The singer said:

"You know what? I've been signed to a record label for twelve years. I was signed to Warner Brothers and sometimes situations just kind of run out, you know? I've had massive success with them, I've sold over 200 million records with that record label, but sometimes, you know, things kind of just run out, right? He continued, "Now I'm a free agent and I'm releasing music like crazy."

Derulo's TikTok Frenzy

Jason Derulo is one of the biggest and most followed people on TikTok, with over 36 million followers. His content includes crazy cooking concoctions, dance challenges, and comedy bits. When asked if he feels that fans are seeing a different side of him they've never been able to see before. Derulo said:

"Yeah, one hundred percent, from a lot of different perspectives... I feel like I'm unchained, I feel so free, free creatively. I feel amazing 'cause I'm at home. You know, I spent so much time traveling the world and sometimes you forget to smell the roses a little bit. I've been smelling them things and they smell good."

New Girlfriend

Jason Derulo also has a new boo by his side! Jena Frumes is an Instagram influencer who started dating Derulo earlier this year. Derulo said:

"It's good timing. The fact that I have time and space at home, it was perfect to figure out where this friendship was gonna go. You know, it started off as that and having time together, it honestly kind of rang true, it was love."
