This Is How Charlize Theron Reacted to Jason Momoa Entering 'Fast & Furious' Franchise

The "Aquaman" star is set to play the villain in the tenth and final film in the series.

Jason Momoa is getting behind the wheel for the last film in the "Fast and Furious" franchise.

Momoa has been cast as the villain to the tenth installment of the F&F universe. He'll be working alongside series veterans Vin Diesel and Charlize Theron, as well as newcomers Cardi B and Brie Larson.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Momoa didn't have much to reveal about his character, only stating,

"He's amazing. He's ornery. He's misunderstood."

He promises that there's "plenty" of action-packed scenes between him and Vin Diesel for fans to look forward to, joking,

"I'm sure that's why they hired me. But yeah, I'm excited I'm working with Vin. I'm excited I'm working with Charlize. I get to shoot with some really cool people that I have never -- I get to work with Charlize first up, which I'm really excited about. She's amazing."

Momoa gushed about getting the chance to work with Diesel and Theron, but it wasn't just fans who took notice. Yesterday, Theron officially welcomed Momoa to the "Fast and Furious" family with an Instagram post.

The photo shows the two together on what can be assumed is the set for the tenth movie. She welcomed Momoa to the "party," prompting him to respond in the comments,

“finally we get to work together. and damn it was awesome. legend.”

"Fast and Furious 10" began filming last week, with Vin Diesel dedicating a post to "Day One." This film marks the final installment in the franchise as its last movie. No release date is yet set, but hopefully Theron and Momoa will continue to keep fans updated.
