Jason Momoa surprised viral 'Aquaman' superfan Danny battling Pineoblastoma with a FaceTime call on Wednesday.

You might have seen a boy named Danny in a viral unveiling of his favorite superhero's action figure, Aquaman. Aquaman himself Jason Momoa wanted to meet the amazing kid and surprised him with a FaceTime call.

Momoa Calls Danny

Jason Momoa surprised Aquaman superfan Danny with a Facetime call on November 18. The two were talking to one another about dolphin adventures and Danny's love of the aquatics. Danny revealed to Momoa that he loves dolphins, but has never seen one, which Momoa says they must change.

Momoa took it a step further in his Instagram caption by calling on Warner Bros. to help gift Danny as well,

"Hey @wbpictures let's get Danny a Aquaman Trident !"

Danny Loves Aquaman

Danny gained attention from many including Aquaman himself with a viral video of him opening up his new Aquaman action figure. Danny hilariously shouts,

"Oh my gosh! My favorite one! Aquaman! I love Aquaman!"

Boston's WBZ-TV 4 took to their Instagram to share this heartwarming moment, spread awareness for Danny's sickness, and call out to the cast of Aquaman.

Danny showed Momoa his new action figure in the clips of their Facetime call as well.

Danny was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer at the age of 4. Danny's parents rushed him to the emergency room when he was sporadically vomiting and suffering from massive headaches to find out that he had an abnormal mass on his brain.

Danny underwent surgery for hydrocephalus, swelling of the brain caused by Pineoblastoma, an aggressive and cancerous brain tumor. Danny still battles with his cancer today, but told Aquaman himself that he is doing good, in a true superhero manner.

The Future of Aquaman

Momoa will be reprising his role as the DC superhero in Zack Snyder's Justice League airing on HBO Max in 2021. Directed by James Wan, Aquaman 2 will also arrive in theaters on December 16, 2022. The future film will star Momoa alongside Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, and Yayha Abdul-Mateen II.
