The CW Show Batwoman just got a brand new leading lady!


A New Batwoman

Actress, Javicia Leslie is set to play the caped crusader in season 2 of The CW's Batwoman. The news comes after lead, Ruby Rose left the show following season 1. While talking about the exciting new role, Javicia said:

"I am extremely proud to be the first Black actress to play the iconic role of Batwoman on television, and as a bisexual woman, I am honored to join this groundbreaking show which has been such a trailblazer for the LGBTQ+ community."

In 2019, Celebrity Page TV correspondent, Sonia Isabelle sat down with Leslie. During the interview, Leslie talked about LGBTQIA+ representation, religion, and more. While talking about representation, she stated:

"It's not about what your sexual orientation is, it's about being a human being. I wish everything was looked at that way."

During the interview, Javicia also talked about her faith:

"I am very spiritual. When you really align your energy up with what your goals are ,the universe is going to give back."
